The sidebar's arrangement now syncs. The order of the top-level items — favorites, daily notes, unfiled — is the same on every device instead of drifting apart.

The graph view got better. Sections can be shown as their own nodes (off by default), and which toggles you leave on is remembered for next time. Section and folder names stay legible however far you zoom out, and hovering any node shows its name.

The lock and create screens were tidied up. The join-a-group section was hardcoded in Korean, leaving everyone else with a half-translated screen; it is now fully translated, and the buttons look like real buttons.

Typing is smoother. The editor toolbars no longer rebuild on every keystroke, so typing keeps up even in long notes with hundreds of blocks. The color, highlight, link, and @ popovers on the selection toolbar now open on the first click instead of sometimes needing two.

A broad hardening pass over saving and syncing. A wide review of the core closed several paths where data could drift out of step or go missing.

Everything written to the vault now genuinely reaches the disk; previously a crash or an abrupt shutdown could cost you the most recent change. Deleted notes could come back, a single failed read could clear your favorites on every device, and one device with a wrong clock could stall syncing everywhere — all fixed.

Sort order and favorites now merge field by field, so changing them on two devices at once no longer overwrites one with the other, and a path where attachments were quietly dropped has been closed.

Sections arrived — a grouping level above folders, so you can gather related folders and tidy up the sidebar. Sections collapse and expand, and you can drag them to reorder or move folders and notes between them. Your existing folders are filed into a Home section automatically.

Printing arrived. File ▸ Print (Cmd+P) prints the note exactly as you see it, and File ▸ Page Setup lets you set the margins.

Items inside favorites, sections, and folders can be dragged into the order you want. In reading mode, Shift+scroll or the +/- keys adjust the text size, and the Help menu now opens the manual directly.

Syncing gained two pieces. Favorites now travel between devices, and a section's name and position travel with it. Both used to stay on whichever device made them.

The startup delay is gone. The short window right after launch where taps didn't register has been removed, so you can start writing or searching the moment the app opens.

Typing is faster. Saving now happens in the background instead of holding up the screen, so typing stays smooth in long notes and large vaults.

An update check was added — the app now tells you when a new version is available. The editor toolbars were also redrawn as a single monochrome icon set that follows the text color, so dark mode inverts them cleanly, and a Table button was added.

Tags arrived — a Tags section in the sidebar, a page collecting the notes for a tag, and a tag line at the top of each note.

Tables came to the editor, with cell background fills, cell alignment, and draggable column widths and row heights. A new note now starts with the caret in its title.

A link graph — a Linked mentions panel showing which documents point at this note, plus a Graph tab that draws the relationships between documents.

Images in a note can be resized by dragging and placed side by side. This was the first notarized public release.

Note version history — roll a note back to an earlier state after an edit or a sync.

Attachment references are tracked separately, so attachments that came loose from a note can be found and restored.

The drawing block arrived — add hand-drawn sketches directly to a note.

Choose whether notes open in the current tab or a new one.

A trash you can restore deleted notes from, along with a view collecting notes that aren't filed in any folder.

Devices can now sync directly over the internet, not just on the same network.

Encrypted automatic P2P sync over the LAN. Vaults are identified by a key phrase, and Settings lists the connected devices.

Native window tabbing — one note opens as one system tab.

iOS moved onto its own version track, with the version shown in Settings.

The editor and the graph now speak your language. Until now only the app chrome was translated on Windows while the note editor and graph labels stayed English. Both follow the system language now, and switching languages relabels open notes right away.

The sidebar matches macOS. Favorites is a block inside the sidebar that you can collapse, and dragging its header — or Move up / Move down — reorders it among daily notes, unfiled notes, and your sections. That order now syncs between devices. Tags moved into the sidebar too, sitting just above the graph.

Collapsing a folder or a section no longer freezes the app for a few seconds — which used to happen most often while a sync was running.

Creating a vault shows its key phrase first. You can copy the five words another device needs before you start writing.

The graph can show sections as nodes (the toggle is remembered), section and folder names stay readable as you zoom out, and hovering a node shows its name. If sync fails to start, Settings ▸ Sync now says why instead of just looking like an empty network. The me:most wordmark on the lock screen and the About dialog follows the app icon's color.

Deleted notes no longer come back, a single failed read no longer wipes favorites on every device, and one device with a skewed clock no longer stalls syncing for all of them. A damaged index also stops blaming your password.

The version number now matches macOS and iOS. Windows reached feature parity, so 0.8.1 is followed by 0.19.0. Here is what arrived on Windows in between.
